Setting Intention 2

About a month has gone by and we have completed the research stage of our trip to British Colombia this summer.  Reservations have been booked, airline tickets purchased, personal trainer hired….we are moving forward.  As for me, I have been steadily progressing in my fitness pursuit.  While I have yet to loose weight, I am losing inches, my stamina is better and I am feeling stronger.  I have moved from doing 8 pushups to 30!  The sessions are not quite as painful as they were when we started.

If you are in the Fort Walton beach area, I highly recommend my trainer…she is Leslie Robinson and can be reached at 850-797-1038.  (Printed with her permission.)  She is really great…has little respect for age, however.  She will push you to the next level and you will experience results!

I keep in mind why I am putting myself through this regime…I am going to be as strong as possible for this outdoorsey guy trip because I truly value doing things with my husband and children.  The side effects are also pretty good.  As I get stronger and clothes fit better, I feel much better…I do my job with more energy and that is good.

Now to set my intention for the next month:  I am going to loose and additional 4 inches.  I am going to loose 5 pounds.  I am going to increase my walking to 6 days per week.  I will be in my Navy uniform for the Patriotic service at church.  For those who do not know, I have been retired for14 years!

I invite you to set your intentions for the next month…share them if you like, it helps to keep you on track!

Looking forward to hearing from you.  Any suggestions you have for the blog are most welcome

You go girl! It sounds like you are doing great — and I envy and congratulate you on taking care of yourself with all the physical training/activity. Great source of inspiration and example of what focus can do in your life. I wish you and all your men a lifetime of memories out of your trip to B.C.

Keep up the good work Desley. Before you know it you’ll be able to do 50 push ups!
